I have decided to stop breeding my own rodents and just stick to frozen for now, while i am finishing my degree. This homemade rack system has the following:
7 mice containers + 7 extra for cleaning
10 rat containers + 10 extra for cleaning
2 mice holding bins
2 rat holding bins
Automatic watering system
The rack system is about 6 ft long. the last shelf is about 6 ft from the ground, but the rest of the frame is around 8 ft high. It originally had rats all the way to the top. It can be taken apart for moving, or cut the top part off if you do not want it that high.
It comes with the breeders also which is 7.35 mice, 10.20 rats
They are all producing now and will be for a while. Most of the rats have been breeding for about 6 months and the mice have been producing for 2 months now.
Asking $300 for it. This thing cannot be shipped so dont ask.
I am located in Gainesville Ga.
