Huge Multi-Part Reptile Cage!
For those of you with way too many critters in way too many individual cages, we are looking to part with this massive 10-part reptile cage for the paltry sum of $250 (or best offer). This sturdy wooden cage was originally built to house snakes, but can be adapted for ground-dwelling lizards as well. Each compartment has a solid wood interior, hinged glass-front door, and an interior light bulb socket. A single cord powers light to all ten light fixtures.
On the outside, this cage measures a total of 48" wide, 72" tall, and 31" deep. Fortunately, it has wheels for easier moving. Each compartment has interior dimensions of 12" high x 31" wide x 22" deep. Door openings are 15" wide by 8.5" high. For obvious reasons, we are hoping for a local buyer (we are located in Berkeley, CA). Buyer will need to have access to a pick-up truck or other vehicle capable of handling furniture of these dimensions.
Having been in use for more than a decade, the cage is a bit scruffy on the exterior, but could easily be refinished to match your decor. One door has a faulty hinge that needs to be replaced. But overall, its a bargain. We've gotten out of the reptile breeding business, and can't afford the space this cage takes up. But we're sure there's a home for it out there.
