    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Winter is coming and my sav is groing fast so before he becomes crampt in his 4' by 18" by 17" cage I want to put him in my garage in a wood cage. The only problem is I live in Nebraska where it gets 90 average in the summer and 20 average in the winter. Is there any way I could keep him in the garage in a nice big cage like 8 by 4 by 4? What would it have to be heated by? Like a basking bulb and maybe a couple of CHE for the winter perhaps? And for the summer keep him a big thing of water and a low wattage basking bulb? I think It could work but I need your oppinions. I also have a small heater that has 2 settings like 750 to 1500 watts of heat and also a fan so maybe that could be rigged up. Any plans tell me or email me so we can talk.

Thanks a million,
Jake

Savannah's

Hello, my friend has his outdoor's all year, they have free roam of his backyard.. We live 50 miles south of Phoenix, but it still gets down in the 30's and 40's at nite but back in the 70's during the day.. They have a big burrow that they go in, kinda like the Sulcatta's do.. He would be fine if you had like a red heat lamp for the nitetime, and a good basking spot during the day.. Good Luck!!!!

Even when it gets below zero like it ocasionally does up here? I might build it and monitor the temps daily to see if I can keep it warm enough. Whats do you think?
