    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dose anyone know what has happened to IDB?? Their phone number is disconnected and their add has disapeared from Reptiles Magazine. They do owe me, and with all my eggs in one basket I now need a new buyer for my chameleons. Anyone know what has happened to them???

Thanks,

They are still in business.  I received this email from IDB, Inc about 1 week ago:

"We will NO longer be using 818-899-9704, please update our current contact numbers which are 818-899-7304 or 818-899-2549."

Hope this info's helpful.

Well, I just got off the phone with IDB. Seems they changed their phone number and neglected to call me. I asked them about the over due payment and they replied that it was on the way. If I find out that they are not on the up and up I will post it.

Thanks,

They stiffed me on a panther chameleon a few years ago...That was when they were retailing.  I had hoped that they have straightened up since then.

I have had two transactions with IDB.
1.   I sold the original owners (who are no longer with the company I believe) a bunch of breeder leopard geckoes.  They never paid me.  This was a few years ago.  I came across my paperwork last September and called the new owners of IDB and told them they owed me money.  They researched it and although they had no record of it, they paid me what they owed me.  The repayment was in credit.  This leads up to my second transaction with them.

2.  3 emerald tree boas, 5 central american boas, and 2 surinam redtail boas.  All of the snakes came on time, packaged correctly and they called to make sure I was happy.  With the exception of the emeralds the snakes looked great.  The emeralds were WC and did not look all that great.  I was not expecting CB animals and for WC, well they were WC.

So IDB pretty good company    <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
