    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looking to buy one of these. Does anyone have any experience with this proportional thermostat? Do you know how reliable it is?
 
I have used this unit in the past and after waiting a month for it to ship I was not happy with it. There is another supplier I know that is not selling those anymore because of the wait time for the manufacture to get them out to the customers. When I stopped using it I bought the BAH-1000 thermostats from Big Apple and have since sols those and moved on to another thermostat. Some people sware by the thermo Gene sells but myself did not like it..

May I ask why you didn't like it? If it was because it wasn't functioning properly or was unreliable then I might steer clear of it.

I dont mean to sterr you from them at all. Some people really like them and some do not.. I couldent get the thing to set right. I just started thinking when I received it that if I had part of the thermostat to fail, I would be losing 4 thermostats and I could not afford to have 4 stats down at one time. I just prefer to have one thermostat per 1-2 cages(or stacks) that is one seperate unit. It is much easier to replace one thermostat or wait on one than it is one 4...Just my opinion and for the money those thermostats are a good value..Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any other questions.. Yeah I can understand that too. But you can get on/off thermos for just a little more. Just a thought..

Oh man now you've got me worrying! I don't know if I should buy the 4 cage t-stat; you make a good point that if it fails that's 4 cages that are in jeopardy. I don't know what to do, I'll have to think about this.

I Have Just Recently Purchased The 4 Unit 1000w Temp Controller, I Had A Short Time Wait To Recieve The Unit,their Was Some Blemishes On The Units On The Cut Outs And Vent Holes ,caused By Not Being Set Up Right. I Have Not Set It Up Yet So I Cannot Give You A Idea On The Overall Functions. I Would Rate It A 5 In 1-10 Rating.
I Was Alwas Told "make It Look Good And It Is Good!"
