    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Chat problems

Well, I have not been able to duplicate that particular problem, however there are a couple of others I have noticed.

For one thing, I got "_CS" appended to my logon name when I went into the chat, which means the system thinks I am coming from the CornSnakes.com site instead of FaunaClassifieds. Another issue is that I was in a room called "Faunaclassifieds" instead of "The Lobby", which means the room called "Faunaclassifieds" was being created on the fly when I logged into the chat.

I have asked my programmer to take a look at it.

Oh, when I get a chance and these problems get ironed out, I am going to be removing most of the chat rooms, since they aren't being used anyway. For the upgrade, I already had the direct links within the discussion forums to the chat rooms removed because of lack of use. I couldn't see spending the effort to do that coding for the new system now here.

Both have happened to me as well. I am pretty sure I found the problem as far as switching rooms too.......
