    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I go there fairly regularly. They're a 2 minute drive from my house. I haven't sold any animals to them but I've been impressed with their store overall when I've been there. It's clean and all the animals seem to be well cared for. At least superficially, they look pretty kosher.

Bill....I don't understand your problem?? THEY want to buy YOUR chameleon, right?? Simple! They send you the money and you send them the chameleon? Why do you have to know if they're trustworthy?? The only reason I could think of is that they want you to ship them the chameleon FIRST! Am I correct? IF that's the case, then you did the right thing by coming here first....if you're dealing with Scott Solar, I have done business with him in the past and everything went smoothly from his end....I haven't spoken to him a couple of years, so I don't know if things have changed or not, but, I didn't have a problem with him....Neil

I stop in their store pretty regularly for basic supplies and overall I haven't seen anything looking sick, the people are pretty friendly and Scott seems like a nice guy. I was in the Retail end of things for over 15 yrs and the store is clean and overall well designed. If they are wanting you to ship the animals first, I'd send the package COD, just to be on the safe side.

just my two cents

It may be that Bill wants to know about the impression people get of the care given to the animals by Amazon Reptile Center.  It could actually be that he is concerned about his animals and doesn't want to sell them to just anyone.  Maybe that's why he's asking about people wanting to buy from him to see if they're trustworthy or not.

I've both sold and purchased reptiles from Amazon Reptile Center--I was just in there today, in fact, as they are about 5 minutes away from my parents' house. The cages are clean, the animals are healthy--no emaciated WCs there!
Scott has been a pleasure to do business with, both in person and via email.  When I've sold him animals it's with the knowledge that I can trust him to care for them properly.

...I'm just waiting for him to get back from Daytona so I can see the treasures he got!
