Trader Ratings

Just my thoughts.

The new feedback system is in place, now called the trader rating as most know. I see alot of complaints about people, and alot of those people havent left feedback securing their complaint on the feedback system.

It would behove those that arent familiar with this system, and potential buyers to be able to see an ad and imediately check the rating without worrying about not finding and/or spelling the name correctly to achieve the desired information. So for all those scam artists and thiefs that prey upon the unknowledgeable, it will make their deceitfullness even harder.

I have been very forgetfull on the ratings as well in the past, but I make sure now that knowmatter how bad or good the transaction is, that they leave feedback as a precursor of the purchase. Naturally the better the feedback, the more comfortable the deal.

And on to the last note. There are also alot of people that utilize this site, and throw heavy complaints, do alot of deals and make a few bucks. A very good percentage of those, have yet to make even the smallest contribution yet act as if the site is their own. 5 bucks is nothing for an outlet like this.

For those that have put deals together with me and I havent left you feedback, send me an email and let me know. Dont send me angry emails, these are just my thoughts, and I am a contributing member.

Jeff - thanks. I am trying my best to make the support of this site that comes from the community that uses it, all optional, in the hopes that this will be enough. That light is growing dim, though. I have spend an embarrassingly large amount of money, time and effort trying to do it this way. Although I think I am at least making ends meet, this is getting to be far too much work to just break even on it.

But would a mandatory paid membership system sink this ship? Maybe. Probably. But then the monkey would be off of my back. At least I could say I tried.......
