In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Healthy, Thriving Het for Albino! (#HABSH51904_M1-M2) Great Price, Hammering thawed!

"I have a 4 foot female and was wondering if any of these where males for future breeding. I am new to this so if you could help me in understanding what the numbers are like 1.0,0.1, and what is the possibility of having an albino is if the male is het for albino."

-Yes, I have two males that are het for albino.

If your female is a normal boa (not het for albino) then 50% of your offspring would be het for albino. If you then bred one of your female offspring that was het for albino back to the male het you would get 25% albinos 50% het for albino and 25% normal. Hope that is clear as mud! :)

Thanks,

Troy

Thank You,

But how do you know which is het or not het or could you give me the name of a good book so that i would not have to bother you. I am still interested in the male boa just dont have the cash at the moment with christmas and all. Hope to have the cash before you sell them. How long are they and how old.

thanks.

"But how do you know which is het or not het"

-Your not going to know, the only way to know is to prove each female out as you breed them back to the father or another albino or het albino male.

"could you give me the name of a good book so that i would not have to bother you."

I did a quick search on google and pulled up a few sites with some morph/genetic info for you.

http://www.reptimania.co.uk/boamorphs.htm

http://www.pkreptiles.com/genetics.asp

"How long are they and how old."

-They were born 5/19/04 and are about 2 feet long. I am not power-feeding them so they are growing at a normal pace.

Thanks for your interest,

Troy
