• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Problem solved for all you ringneck keepers!!

I have talked to many people within the last 6 months to find why people do not keep ringneck snakes more often. It came down to 3 reasons as to why, their size, their shyness and the fact that some can be difficult to get feeding. One good way to make a snake not be so shy, and get bigger, is to get it eating on a regular schedule every few days. I know how you can get them to eat, salamanders, if you have the northern sub-species, the prairie sub-species, the southern sub-species or the mississippi sub-species, salamanders are the key for success. Drop me an email at [email protected] and let me know what size ringneck snake you have, and I will have the perfect size for it. Salamanders cost anywhere from $1 to $4 each, depending on size and the number you want. No ringneck snake is too small to get food for.

For those of you who keep the western sub-species of ringneck snakes, I have a solution, small snakes, ringneck snakes from the western parts of the United States favor snakes and small lizards over everything and anything. Email me and let me know what size ringneck you have, and I'll have the perfect size for it, no ringneck snake is too small to get food for. The snakes are $2 to $5 each, depending on size and the number that you want.

Trades are considered.

Hey there,

I replied to the email you sent me, I've yet to get a reply :)
Anyways, how often do you come across small tree frogs and small geckos/lizards? I have a pine woods snake that eats all of those prey items, but I am running out of f/t and have ran out of connections in Florida to provide more. Get back to me.

Also, in reply to your email, if you can provide tree frogs for your southern ringnecks, and they eat those, don't bother with salamanders, tree frogs fill them up better.

sorry . jsut got your email . well gettign frogs is a matter of timing . i have to be able to get out to the the holy lands in the everglades around dusk during or after a rain . if thers no rain im likely to find snakes but no frogs . if it rains , ill find frogs but no snakes . i havenmt seen as many since its been colder but i can usually go out back and catch 5-10 small anoles or house geckos a week .well i finally got and responded to your email . but il still intrested in salamanders if yolu can provide them

I can provide them but it's all a matter of life or death(live or dead sallies) and the deal in hand. :idea: Feeders for feeders may be a good trade, and there are also dozens of Florida snakes I am looking to obtain.
