    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just curious to know if anyone had any suggestions as to where to buy shoebox- or sweater box-sized tubs. I don't need the lids so lids optional!

I usually buy mine at Target. They generally have stacks and stacks of shoeboxes. Its the only place local I can find the 41qt Sterilites I use for my BPs.
 
Tubs

WALMART. They always have an extensive amount of sterlite. From shoeboxes to huge 50 gallons. Yeh adn I agree with the target I have found lots there too. Well Good luck with finding your sterlites.
 
I was thinking more along the lines of buying 150 - 200 tubs. I don't know that Walmart of Target would even stock that many. :)
 
The targets out here get deliveries by the truckload on a daily basis. I've talked to a couple of different "geniouses(?)" about getting large numbers of boxes. They say it can be done but they don't know exactly how long it would take.

There have been times though when I have seen more than 50 tubs of large size available. By large I mean the 41 qt and above.
 
I just bought some shoebox-sized tubs from Wal-Mart for my baby sand boas. They measure 4.9 x 8.4 x 14.6 inches. They're by Rubbermaid and were $1.88 each. I did need lids and the lids fit quite tightly. What I liked about them is they're clear. They had about 40 of them which is way under what you need but with a Wal-Mart in every town and a little driving. . .

I also bought some sweater box sized Sterilite tubs because I'm making a rack w/these. But again, they only had about 20 or so of these.

Thats the way the Target here is. I've seen 5 stacks of 60 plus per stack ( I quit counting at 60) at any given time. WallyWorld does small amounts but I can get every tub I need for a rack in one shot at Target.
 
Big Lots If you have one near you they are the way togo. The one we have here is awsome..
