Handsome ambilobe adult male approximately 11 months old that came from 2 WC parents. (sire was a red/yellow ambilobe).
Very handsome male and would be a great addition to your breeding group, unfortunately I only have two sisters available currently for him to breed with so I need to move him out. He is doing the incents "twitch" and needs a non related lady to bring flowers and chocolates to.

Looks like a healthy panther but thats no Ambilobe. Looks more like a Ambanja but most likely a hybrid of a few locales.

This is one of the babies all grown up from Pam Reids red/yellow WC ambilobe male and suposed WC female. I'll find out how the other boys grew up from her. I think she kept a sibling or two

Hello All,
I'm a late-comer to this thread ..... but there's always a favor or two to return out there. Matt, I'm going to have to disagree with you. While it is not a typical blue bar Ambilobe, which many are familiar with, it is not claimed as such. It certainly is well within the range of appearances that I have seen from Ambilobe. Together with Kalam Azad, I unpacked the first shipment of WC recognized Ambilobes in this country several years back, and have unpacked several hundred since. I have also bred and raised several hundred. Many people have formed their opinions on what an Ambilobe is supposed to look like based on pictures posted in various ads, etc. From what I have observed, many of those animals are hybrids ..... likely as many as 1 in 3. Because of the large number of variations occuring in the wild in the Ambilobe area, it is also possible to produce known hybrids that mimic many of those variations almost to a "T". But to say this is not an Ambilobe, and more closely resembles an Ambanja, or a hybrid, is uninformed! Hope that you had good fortune moving this animal Alison ..... did the asking price include a complimentary box of chocolate covered crickets and flowers?

I did check with Pam Reid on him and mom and dad were from wild caught shipment. Dad definately ambilobe coloration but ya never know about the moms. I did however pull him from being for sale because of this and I kept him. He is true ambilobe and in recent peels he has turned out to be quite a looker so Im keeping him. I'll post a current picture of him :} I'm glad I kept the little booger, and thanks!
Chocolate covered silkies are even better the crickets (Mmmmm)
