Our rescue has room for him at the moment. Or if you are in Central PA there is another rescue in your area that may be able to take him.

Mike, I'd caution you against that sale, as I noticed Nauticawear2 is in AZ, where private possession of crocodilians is restricted.

Yaeh, it would be a quick $100, but an illegal sale can end up costing both the buyer and seller a lot more than that.

Check this link. It will tell you what states gators are legal in as well as what states require permits for exotics coming in.

Thanks Everyone,
I will sell the alligator to you for $100 if you can show me proof of a valid Arizona wildlife permit. I now have a list of the states where you need a permit and I will use it. Thanks, Steve

Mike, this is another one that I'd caution you about, as this person is also asking you to be party to a crime. Alligators are listed as Class I wildlife in TN, and their possession has been severely restricted since 1991.

I don't know what it is as of late with people asking sellers to ship them animals that they (the would-be buyer) should know they cannot legally possess. It puts the seller in a bad situation should something happen.

With the attention that the herp industry has received from state wildlife agencies as well as USFWS as of late, I wouldn't be surprised if we're seeing yet another "covert" operation from one or more of the agencies.
