DEALS "R" US    FYI & I MAY NEED HELP

hey all,
       i have spent the last 2 hrs searching the boi and i havent seen a post on this guy.
       some of you may have noticed that last month i posted an ad on kingsnake where i was selling alot of my snakes. i just had a baby and got married and have decided just to thin out out my collection a bit.
       i received a great many e-mails and sold quite a few of my snakes, i recieved an e-mail from michael it just said "hey give me a call" and he left the number, so i called him. after about 30 mins of haggling (pleasantly) we decided on a deal so we set up everthing and i was set to ship c.o.d to NJ. so i shipped them and he received them but only had a personal check-and so far i have had no reason not trust him and for fear of losing some of the snakes in shipping if fedex sent them back i agreed to take it and informed fedex to go ahead so that transaction went through as normal - and you have probably guessed by now but the check came back as "account closed" so i contacted him and explained my position-he said he would have me a money order out the next day! well you probably guessed again yup nothing and nothing and nothing all i have been getting is excuses so today i decided to file a report with NJ state police and guess what?   right again - i am not the only one he has done this to- as a matter of fact the whole office of police officers knew who he was just by me talking to the one police officer. he is wanted in 4 states for bad checks so today i made it 5 and have spoken with the D.A. and the state police i have also filed a report with the IFCC - so be very careful in dealing with this guy.

and by the way the part i need help with is if any of you have had a bad experience with him post it hear and it will only help those of us who have been ripped off.

you do not need to hear bad experiences from us.
It is quite obvious you will not get your money.
How do I know this........
because he  wrote you a check from an account that is closed.

I am sure he knew the account was closed.
So do not even expect him to follow through with the money order deal

Well I wish you luck. He has taken alot of people out there for alot of money. I know one person who is a friend of mine that he stole $5000 worth of animals and has not been caught or paid a dime on yet. He has also done the same thing to an exporter in Madagascar. He took $10,000 worth of animals and has never paid a dime for. He is scum and needs to get taken care of in Prison and I hope it happens soon but it looks like he is still at it in full speed.

He tried to get me about to weeks ago... He called himself mark fionelli and did use the company name of deals are US... The name sounded to familiar with Mike simmoneli which i knew was bad news...He claimed to only be the manger and that owner (who could give me the references) Was out of town... He was in a big hurry to get the animals... Unfortunately I lost all his info that he gave me but the 2 address that were given above sound very familiar... Definantly stay away from any one in that neck of the woods.. He has another company name mass wholesale herps(I belive )

I too got rippped off by Michael Simonelli for $800.00 in tortoises that he never sent me.  My story was posted here on the BOI.  I don't know whay you didn't find it when you did a search.  Here is the direct link to my story:

The only thing I did was report my problem to the conusmer protection agency in his county.  I want to file a report just have not done it yet.

This guy is a total JERK!!!!!!  Why can't law enforcement do anything about him with 5 complaints to go on for over $10000<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>???

I'm glad this has come to light again and hope he gets really cauight and has to pay all of us restitution.
