    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bull snake questions.

I would say a 40 breeder would be minimum size (36 x 18 x 13). Bigger is better and something 48" long would be MUCH better.

Bulls take small rats as adults. Some get "stuck" on mice, but boy can that get expensive. Think 3 or 4 mice every 2 weeks for an adult....

Jake,

adult bulls average about 6 1/2 - 7 1/2' and are very heavy bodied animals. In comparison to corns, kings etc they are at least twice and most of the time 3 times as big around at the same length. With that said realize that bulls are also very active. For our adults we use neodesha cages that are 48" X 30" X 15". They do well in them. Realize that floor space is much more important than heigth. Good Luck and keep us informed on what you get. One word of caution, of all the snakes we keep pits are our favorite and are very habit forming. LOL

-Yeah, that’s what happened to me. I have a completely full grown adult. Awesome snake I took in as a rescue. I feed it 4-6 mice every week and 1/2. Good thing I'm a dealer and get good prices on feeders! I love this species of snake! It inexpensive and a joy to own/ given you care for them properly.
