    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm concerned for the snake

Hello
I was the one who sold you this snake my email is [email protected] I am wondering why you are selling him, and why you have e-mailed me claiming he has bitten you 4 times yet here you say he has never bitten. I am also wondering why you havent contacted me about not being able to care for this snake. Im concerend for the snake and don't want anything bad happening to him. Although I warned you that this snake was not a begginer snake,I felt that you knew what you were getting into when purchasing, since you said you were an experience owner. I would of prefered for you to of contacted me before deciding to sell him, but I'm afraid now I cant give you a refund. However for the sake of the snake, I can take it back, please consider that before trying to sell it to someone who does not know how to handle a snake with a personality of his.
Thanks

To abdeil..

I am experianced with snakes and other reptiles, he has never bitten me, he has striked, but now after picking him up every day hes just about fine, thats why i havent emailed you cause hes fine now. Your right I was wrong i thought i was ready for a burm, i have boas, and monitors, and ball pythons, but his hissy scares me, i dont know why ive been bit by a 5 foot brazillian rainbow boa.. but the little snappy ones just scare me.

Well I told you that ALL burmese hiss. They are vocal animals and WILL let u know when they are upset. If you still feel that your not ready for a burmese I can take him back and find a good home for him. I just don't want him to grow up to be one of thoes abandoned snakes out there. I believe that if you are afraid of an animal you shouldn't be keeping it as a pet. Like I said I'm able to find another home for him if you arn't able to keep him...

Just make sure they are experience and know the snakes hissy and snappy so they don't make the same mistake you did.

I have a burmese and even though at first he can be hissy he calms down the second he is out of the cage. Once they have been handled regularly they are good snakes. Just like most snakes that are well handled.

the berm

yes i would have to agree that berm's are a little hissy. i have one myself.but the only thing i can say is that your best bet is to give it back to it's prevous owner. that is only because like you said you really aren't ready for a berm.but i think that is in your best intrest.

If you cant find a good experianced home for this snake I'm willing to take it, however I wont be able to give much more then shipping costs and experianced care to him. Maybe we could work something out like a trade. Please do whats in the best interest for the snake.
