    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Savannah monitor approx 33", tame, feeds well on canned dogfood, thawed mice, chicken breast, thawed shiners. almost 3 yrs old. Very tame, gentle. Also Nile monitor, approx 27", mean, very active, feeds well on same. almost 2 years old. Will bite. Both are healthy. I'm willing to give them away for the actual price of shipping which I'm not familiar with but would guess it would run $30-$35 for one or both. The catch is if you ever decide to get rid of them I get first dibbs on them also for free (plus shipping). I doubt I would want them back but I just want them to find a good home. If by chance anyone has anything they are willing to trade that would be nice also. No cage is included, The Savannah is one of the calmest animals I have ever seen, we often hand feed him w/ no problems. Pics were too large to post here so If anyone is interested I can try to e-mail them to you directly --Thanks Charles Duff

Savannah Monitor and Nile monitor.....

I will take them off your hands for actual shipping costs. I have the proper caging and know the husbandry requirements well for these guys. I currently have a Savannah, red ackie, and 20 plus bearded dragons. I don't breed monitors so they would simply be pets. I would like them to be shipped via express mail through U.S.P.S. due to their weight. I am available to accept them any day of the week, but would like for you to decline signature confirmation because I'm not sure if I'll be home during delievery time. Don't worry I have a heated porch. I would be willing to pay up to $50.00 for shipping and would prefer to make the payment through pay-pal. Please let me know!

I am also interested, but only in the savannah. I am located in New Albany, IN which is about two hours north of you. I would only be willing to pick up because I don't believe in shipping live animals unless it is necessary. I have a full room in my house that is being prepaired for monitor husbandry with both a cage as well as plenty of free roam space for when I am home. The room will be ready shortly so let me know what you want do.

I am interested in the savannah. I live in covington, ky and would like to see pics if you can send me any. My email is [email protected]. If you still have it I can come and pic him up if he looks o.k. and is as calm as you say he is. You can also call me at 431-9923. Thanks

It looks like the Savannah may be spoken for but the nile is still available. I'll try to get back to everyone but I'm not at my computer more than about once a day. 'Wintersentinel' is probably taking the Savannah. I'll keep all the responses and get back to each person for the Nile basically on a 'first come basis'. There were a LOT of people who e-mailed me so please be patient, I'll get back to you as soon as I get a chance.--Thanks, Charles
