In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This heat rack is very nice, its white with 7 seperate escape proof shelves. It holds 7 28qt tubs and has slits inside the shelves to allow for heat tape to be slipped through so that the heat tape is actually inside the shelf. This eliminates the tape getting caught on the tub, or being exposed. I put some small holes in the fronts of the tubs to keep the humidity controlled. Pictures are attatched but if they dont work, they can be emailed upon request -- lookin for local pickup, tri-state area, I will travel to meet you. I will ship it if the buyer pays for shipping. Rack and Tubs included, heating equipment NOT included.

$400

Thanks,
Kevin

I think this is tacky. His rack maybe over priced or not. You have your own ads why advertise on his with your or someone else’s product?

Should I go advertise on your posts?
Hey, I don't know were your money comes from but I work hard for mine. When this person first posted this ad I emailed him directly that this rack costs $355 brand new from any of the distributors, and the seller responded that he didn't care what they sold for new. I only listed PMHerps because it was the only one I have in memory. But the the company that makes this rack is B.A.R.R.s http://www.barrs.com/. Anybody can do to either one of them and buy the rack brand new for $355. So if I offened anyone I'm sorry, but I don't have that lush money tree in my back yard.

So Dennis, if you have a source for what I'm selling cheaper please feel free to post it. I don't have a problem with people saving a buck.

I didnt say I didnt care, for the record. I said that I paid more then 355 for mine, and that I wasnt about to lose money on a rack because I dont think a rack can lose value if its used or not. I want to take a look at your ads and do my own searching, see if I can help people save money on your products and herps, but I'm not about to stoop to your level. But, thanks for misquoting me and making me sound like a real jacka$$, and I might sound like one right now, but thats cause you blew up my spot and should really have nothing to do with this because your not going to buy it.

Actually what you said to me in the email may not have been exactly "I don't care" but it was the same sentiment. The only reason I emailed you in the first place was if your price was reasonable I would have bought it since you are within driving distance. It's not any ones fault that you paid more than brand new retail. I don't see why someone should pay more than the going price a new one. All I did was provide people with the information to make a decision to buy it from you or buy it new for $45 LESS. I apologize for p**sing you off. Sorry about that. If you can find any of the items I have for sale cheaper please feel free to point them out.

I'm all for making a buck but I won't rob anyone to do it.

I have friends on this board and I wouldn't want to see them get ripped off.

First off, WHY should it matter what he paid for it or charging for it now???

Second, i also think it was wrong to post a ad for cheaper racks in his ad.

The last time i checked this was america. People have the right to label whatever price tag they desire on any product. If someone bought this and found out they could have paid about the same price from the manufacturer, so be it. There is no law or anything to protect them, because its all falls under the buyer beware clause. Meaning it isnt the sellers fault the buyer didnt shop around to find a better deal. You try to make it seem like the guy is scamming people, when he isnt.

If you didnt like the price and know you can get it cheaper, then do so. Dont bother the seller and advertise other companies in his ad, because you dont agree with it.

My suggestion is to kill the ad and start a new one. if you are allowed to delete ads.
