    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anybody ever deal with Northstar Reptiles?

Has anybody ever dealt with Northstar Reptiles out of Alaska?  I'm considering buying some boas from them, but I've never heard a word about them.
 
Okay, I've talked with him a few times via e-mail, but never directly "dealt" with him. However, I was talking with Brian Sharp on the phone the other day about an entirely different subject when HE mentioned that his friend in Alaska(speaking of Philip of Northstar) had produced some albinos of his strain. That in itself would tell me that Brian Sharp knows him well enough to call him a friend and also varifies that they truly do have and have produced Sharp strain albinos. If that is the boas your considering buying. Didn't see any other responses to your inquiry, so figured I would tell you what little I know. Hope that helps you out a little. Take care!
 
PBM, thanks for the info.  After several emails to Philip I decided to purchase a pair of Dumerils Boas from him.  I couldn't be happier with the deal!

I emailed Philip Sunday afternoon asking about his Dumerils and he got back to me very soon afterwards.  After a somewhat lengthy bunch of emails to work out all of the details, I picked the pair I wanted and sent payment.  Philip shipped the very next morning just as he said he would!

As far as the quality of the snakes, I am thrilled!  They are two of the best looking Dumerils I've ever seen.  They look perfectly healthy in every way.

Philip has great communication, does what he says he will, packs and ships great, and produces some great animals!  I'm glad I took the chance, and based on my experience would strongly recommend him to anyone!
