"Pet Prouct News" is a trade magazine aimed at the pet industry. In the recent issue there was an article about selling on the web. While it had a lot of general info on websites and the like it was sort of geared toward selling reptiles. It wasn't a particularily informative article (they seldom are IMO) but there were a few interesting paragraphs with quotes form a person with the initials T.L. (they said his name but I am going to let you figure it out) A little hint, the acronym for his company name in San Obispo Cal. is CCRRC. Anyway, in one of the paragraphs T.L. says that the Internet gives a forum to slanderous competitors which can lead to an undeserved bad reputation. His direct quote was " They make up stories and lie about bad transactions. This causes people to lose their business and damages the entire reptile industry" Now, he doesn't come out and name any websites in particular but I don't think it takes genius to figure it out.
Just thought it was kind of interesting and thought I would pass it along.
