In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have to check with the Misses but i have 2 female Patternless females, if you would be interested, but i need to see what she says

although im not trying to be a but head or anything, i just want to give you some facts. the panther chameleon is actually a female, a really nice one too. i would just hate seing someone get it and wanting to send it back for some reason leaving you in the dust jorge. to infact tell the chameleon is a female, look at the tail base of her tail and see how slender it is meaning-she does not pack any hardware for jewels (no genetal bulge) also take a look at the coloration-very blue cheeks nice red marble on face, yet many earthbound colors else where. females typically show blue on the face and lack some coloration on the bosy until sexually mature. that female is going to be a knockout, when her time comes.

Well it IS a MALE and a very nice male at that!

You can clearly see the HUMP (genital bulge) at the base of the tail and the nose definition and casque shape is a MALE. Most males do not color up until they are a little older and at 7-8 months he is probably just starting to get his adult color and genital buldge.

Females are gray and white, to brown and white, no buldge at the base of the tail and a different nose definition and different casque shape.

The tail size in males and females is often the same its the BULDGE right behind the vent that you can clearly see in his pics.

SEE pic below with casque, nose definiton and genitals circled.

2nd is a male at about 7 months

you can clearly see the nose shape is different and the casque is slightly different

even though you hadnt noticed it at all. some females have larger nose crestes than other females. secondly the bulge on it was at the vent not the tail base. god get a clue. look at the other photos and you will notice the panthers bulge is its vent not base of tail where genetals are.

Well I disagree, I believe Jorge is right and it is a male, its body markings alone indicate male and that is the budlge, the vent you can clearly see is just in front of it.

If I am worng I am wrong but it appears to be a male and has the same phisical appearance and markings as the other male I have had at that age.

PS I don't put much weight on advise from someone who cannot spell genitals when telling someone they are incorrect about the sex of their animal.

look some peoples ears are larger than others so on so forth. some female chameleons have SIMILAR characteristics of males, but not identical. even the photos you supplied prove that jorges chameleon is a female. the tail is way to skiny to be that of a males. a males hemi pene bulge is not just a bump like so, it is usually a small portion going down the tail. none the less the coloration of it at its age is far to dull to be that of a males. yet once she does reach sexual maturity she will be gorgeous i can tell you that much. males are not covered with pale tans and black, they have reds and blues and sometimes even greens for this locale specific panther phaze. im so sure its female i want to buy it, although i dont quite have enough for more panthers right now.

Im not stupid, I know people look different and that some MALE chameleons have female characteristics as well as some females having male characteristics.... Although Ive never had a female have male body patterns, a male casque, a male nose and male genitals.

And the hemiphenes are stored in the Hemipenal bulge

Anyway, I believe it to be a MALE as stated, not all males color up that young, Ive had them not show color til after 12 months and no genital bulge til then either. And Ive had some show a huge bulge and awesome color by 4-6 months.

Yup female you can tell by looking at the hind par of the legs, if it does not have a little bump kind of thing it's a femal if it has one it is a male.
