In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

UPS has now messed up 2 shippments of mine in 2 weeks. last week i sent a person a MO that was supposed to go nextday air the nextday i asked the guy if he got it and he did not. i was pretty upset about it but it was just a MO and nothing that important. well the guy finly got it yesterday and shipped my snake.after waiting and waiting and never seeing the ups truck i went to there website and tracked it, it got sent regular ground. on there website it says it wont be here with the 7th (today is the 5th) and now i am praying that the snake will be alright. i am never going to use UPS again unless i have to and i hope that other snake owners will follow. if any of you have had problems with ups please post your stories here

i did that and they said that nothing can be done about it. the guy i talk to was a jerk and didnt even try to do anything

Since UPS specifically does not accept live snake shipments, I don't see where snake shippers boycotting them is really going to bother them much.

it got sent regular ground.

That would have to be a shippers error. If the shipper hand wrote label the label is RED, and if it's a ground delivery the labels are brown and black.
Now, if the label was printed from a computer than there isn't any color to it, but it CLEARLY states at the top of the label GROUND or NEXT DAY AIR. Pretty hard to make a mistake like that one. This is just mu honest opinion though.

if ups does not ship animals then y does every1 ship it through them?

They will get away with it only up till the time that UPS corporate office or a change of the guard in their local office pulls the rug out from under them. There will be NO warning when this happens. One day they can ship their snakes, the next day they won't. They are just living on borrowed time. Just as people who are still using DHL (Airborne) are doing.

FedEx is the only common carrier nationwide that will knowingly accept live harmless snakes for pickup and delivery directly to your door.

today when i tracked my package it said that it was ontime but it still has not arrived anywhere sence leaving yesterday at 4:00 in the morning. is this normal? does this mean anything?

yea i have been so worried about him its almost made me sick. when i get him what are all the possabilities of things that could be wrong wtih him because of the long trip?

It doesnt matter that you have done it before...

I've had my animals shipped UPS "Next Day Air", and have never had a problem.

If it was shipped as a regular parcel, then I feel for the poor snake! All that tossing and throwing, the temperatures, the loud nioses at scanning stations are so painful to imagine lasting several days!

UPS does accept shipment of live, harmless animals. I have all of mine held for pickup at the nearest customer service station, and even open my boxes in front of curious workers without a problem at all, ever. So either I get away with murder or shipping animals via UPS Next Day Air only is acceptable.
Its their policy to not ship snakes, period. You get away with murder until you are caught. All it takes is one curious worker to look at your package funny en route and your snake wont make it. I'm happy to hear that the snake did make it alive and healthy. Did you check to see if the shipper had made the error to mark it ground delivery?

after i waited a while for it to get to my house with no results si decide to track the shippment and thats when i realized that a misteak had ben made so i contacted the seller and he contacted the ups store that he had is shipped from and they said that a new girl there had messed it up somehow and i contacted ups and the guy i talked to was a complete ass and just kept sayin there was nothin he could do and i was just out of luck. anyways when he got here the box had a next day air sticker on it, i was not to happy about my experence with them. just so every1 knows i was not aware that ups dosnt ship animals untill after i made this topic
