Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary!

There is a place that is focused on the rescue, care and placment of many types of snakes, reptiles and amphibians. That place is called Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary. It is based out of PA but has individual chapters sprouting all over the East Coast.

FFRS works on educating the community on proper reptile care and housing. We hope that with proper education, people will know what is the right pet for them and it will reduce the amount of homeless, abandoned or abused reptiles.

FFRS takes in many types of reptiles and amphibians, but if we do not have the room or the means to take in a reptile, we have a free public forum available to everyone to post about their reptiles in hope of finding them a good, loving forever home.

If anyone is looking to find a new home for their reptile or if you are intrested in possibly adopting a reptile then please feel free to contact Mandy at [email protected].

You can email me a Wish List of the reptiles you are looking to adopt, that way if one comes in, we already have a home lined up for it and we can contact you about further information and get the adoption process started.

It says clearly that this forum is for those who have to part with their pets.
It also says "No Solicitors" In reading that, no one should post advertisements for shelters, like you have done. I am sure it is a mistake, but I don't know why you didn't read that. Maybe you missed it. If so, that's alright!

In fact, I did miss it. But I don't see what is wrong with letting people know that there is a rescue available so that if there is an urgent need to find a home for their pet then at least they have an option that they are aware of. Also, with this being an "adoption" forum, and with me posting about a rescue who adopts out reptiles, wouldn't it make sence to post it here?

What I don't understand is why you are the only person who has complained about a rescue posting here... I am not the only one who has and none of the other rescues have gotten complaints.

All I am doing is letting people know that we are out here and we do exist, so if they are looking to adopt or find a home for their pet then they can turn to us if they want to. We certainly do not get anything out of rescuing animals other than the satisfaction knowing that we made a difference in an animals life.

What's the problem with her post? She has animals for adoption, is that not the point of this section? She's doing a good thing, don't ride her about it man.
