• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Since they are not answering emails, why not try another method of contacting them. Maybe there is a problem with their computer, or maybe a problem with your emails or with your computer being able to receive emails. Recently I lost contact with several people by email. I do not know why but for months I could not receive emails from about 15 people I sent them to.Why not to, and I am not sure whether or not they received all the emails I sent to them during that time. I thought this may have been due to my restricting my receipt of instant messages, but AOL said no that was not caused by my blocking IM's. Apparently AOL users were having a problem receiving mail from hotmail users and others.

That could be your problem, then again maybe it is not. Whatever it is, there are other ways to contact NY Worms when email is to no avail; here are there address and phone numbers from their web site:

New York Worms
7 Germaine Street
Glen Cove, NY 11542
Phone: (516) 759-3538   Fax: (516) 674-0543

Sometime snailmail really is faster!

Good luck and Best regards,

Glenn Bartley

Glenn,
Other contact methods duly noted. But does it justify not getting my order out  ? I recieved a auto reply e-mail and electronic receipt confirming that my order was accepted and paid for on the 23rd. its now the 31st. and guess what...no bugs.

No I don't think that an email problem justifies not getting an order out, but a computer problem might, if their system crashed and they lost their records. Please bear in  mind though, I was not trying to justify anything just trying to be helpful. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Hey Glenn,
didnt mean to come across negatively towards you. I'm just frustrated. I've got animals that needed to be fed and I let them go 3 days with no food anticipating this order to arrive. I went to my local pet shop yesterday and purchased 100 crix and 100 mealworms...not only is that expensive, but it'll only last me 2 days if I'm lucky. I did try to call them yesterday, but only got a answering machine stating to send them an e-mail because they receive too many calls. Bottom line is they have my order and money. I on the other hand have nothing to feed my animals. If anyone else is having the same problem with them, please reply. This needs to be brought to their attention somehow.

I ordered "heat packs" from NY Worms approx 6 months ago, and it was by far the most frustrating supply ordering experience I've ever dealt with.   After many phonecalls and emails made in vain, my order showed up about three months later.  Right in time for the warm weather when I no longer needed them.

In any case, avoid these guys.  There are plenty of other folks out there who appreciate our business.   "Superior Enterprises" to name one.

Hate badmouthing people, but "NY Worms" needs to get their act together.   Just the facts.
