    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No, not really. Just a guy who had a bad idea several years ago and mistakenly hoping maybe tomorrow everything will be better. :bandhead0

I guess I'm just like everyone else. I just want to be over on the other side of the fence where the grass is greener.

Is it just? I think things are picking up to where it was before the fee was put into place, of course minus the multiple postings under different names by the “Bad Guys”.

Rich, what would all of us cult members do without you? Surely, there is no other Grand Poobah like you!

Those who want to be wet towels, go ahead. Me, I'm happy, enthusiastic, full of love and I love Fauna. Maybe it is that I am a nurse, but I think every once in a while, showing people that you like them, giving a hug, telling them they are ok; to me, that's a GOOD THING! :)
 
but sometimes too much of a good thing isnt all the good... i like fauna and its a great site but love well thats a very special word not to be tossed around. i think rich has a great site and given us an awesome comunity and truly appreciate it but i don't love him for it (sorry rich).. i think rich is a good giy with allot on his shoulders shoot i couldnt do what he does but if i disagree with him i let him know... i dont follow him round and wait for the next time to kiss it or praise him
 
None of us do that Robin. In any case, I am glad you said some nice things on this thread.
 
I think Rich is an amazing guy and I really respect what he has done and continues to do for this site. It has to be hard to do what he does and I really enjoy fauna and my time here, I hope it continues to grow!

Honestly, if I had had the foresight of what was to come when I thought of doing this, I would not have done it. You all don't even begin to know the toll it has taken. I'm not the kind of guy that people hate. I'm a wallflower that prefers to stay in the background and live my own life and let others live theirs.

Now I'm still a wallflower, but people obviously hate me enough for what I have done here to wish harm to me and actively engage in trying to make that happen.

No, if I had a time machine, I would go back and kick myself in the butt before the BOI were ever to be born.

The original stimulus for creating the Board of Inquiry, someone stiffing me for $2K in bad checks, never did get resolved, so personally, the BOI never really did a darn thing for me.
