    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

COOL! :cool: The lock out last year really pissed me off. I lived in Michigan for a number of years and all I had was Hockey. The Lions suck, 1984 was a fluke for the tigers and I'm not into basketball. When I moved from Michigan the Redwings won the cup two years in a row (of course they couldn't do it when I lived there). Now I'm in Ohio, The Browns suck, the Indians suck and I'm still not into basketball.

In all honesty, I don't really care. I do like hockey, and wouldn't mind going to a few games... but I think I'm just fed up with professional athletes complaining about not making enough money (like a few million a year for playing a game is hard enough to earn a few million a year... HA!)

To me, a game of minor-league style athletes is just as interesting as the pros, regardless of the sport.

I tend to agree and as such I find college basketball much more exciting than the NBA "look at me showboat all day long" crap.
