    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My male double het snow has been acting quite strangely. He does not eat very often, in fact he will only eat once after shedding. He sheds a couple times a month sometimes as many as three. He will only eat small prey items compared to his size. He continues to lose weight and then goes right into another shed just a couple days after I feed him. He has been slowly getting worse. I checked and re-checked my enclosures and the animal himself. No mites, humidity around 40% at the highest. Temps are 80 on the cold side and 91 on the warm side. I dewormed him with fembendazole twice in the last two months and waited to see if there was an improvement. His fecal is too soft. I am going to take him to our vet tomorrow to see if they can deworm him with something else for any other types of parasites. Is there something more serious to it than that? Thanks for any help.

Christine,
It's difficult to make a diagnosis via the internet, but I feel that you are making the right decision, taking him to the vet tomorrow. It sounds like you're doing everything else correctly, so it's definitely time to see an experienced reptile vet.

Good luck and keep us posted on the diagnosis.
