In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I want a Liger for Christmas

Oh wow. I didn't know that a liger continues to grow it's entire life. I wonder just how big they get?

Okay now for my confession. I want an African elephant herd. Just 3 or 4 females.

I love elephants, always have. However it has to be African, not Asian. I'd love to have about 10,000 acres or so for them with streams & a huge lake.

Ahh to dream.

How about a pygmy marmoset? Those are just too cute. :)

I asked my husband about getting elephants when we move... he told me, "no". Lol.

pretty cool..but i dont agree with the crossing of a domestic dof with a cyote or wolf..i think that in time, if this keeps going, there will be problems...big problems..

Dan I couldn't agree more. But there already have been problems. When we bred dogs, we knew a lady who had 50% wolf hybrids. She admitted to them being incredibly aggressive towards kids, and that they would attack any other dog that got near them. She was afraid of them herself. We just kept asking ourselves, "WHY?". There's a breed of dog for every purpose, and I can't imagine what would be the benefit of producing something like that.

...But I want a giraffe. That or a zebra-giraffe hybrid. I think that would camouflage pretty well and the neighbors wouldn't notice. :raspberry

Umm Paul, that was sea bass with the laser beams. But koi would do in a pinch, I guess. :dgrin: :dgrin: :dgrin: :dgrin: :dgrin: :dgrin:

I really wonder what a giraffe/zebra hybrid would look like?

As for the Quagga, that's kind of a success story. The first quagga-like foal was born January, 20 2005. But since the quagga's DNA is the same as a plains zebra then technically the quagga never was extinct.
