    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Casting Call.... "Fauna: The Movie"

Okay, my own imagination is pretty shot this morning (first day back at work and all, after a summer vacation). I thought I would open up a challenge to all who care to play.

If Fauna was going to be a movie, and you wanted to cast the participants with known actors, who would you put in the various parts?

If you can include a picture of the actor/actress that you would cast that would help.

Just think this would be a good way to see how others mental pictures shape up to our own.

I myself will give this dedicated thought during my day of teacher-in-service meetings and see what I can come up with.

Sasheena, watch the original Buffy movie. The character is WAY different from the TV Buffy.

In the original film the chick thinks she has it all together in the life she is living. She discovers there is more to her than what is on the surface and becomes a much stronger, nicer, smarter, more likeable person. She may not be happier, but her life is far more interesting and complex once she has a purpose. Kristy Swanson also plays a much less emotionally damaged Buffy than does Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Other people may want to be simple and uncomplicated, but I find that to be dull and boring.

I was just teasing you. I actually know the actress better for her part in the show "Early Edition". I've only seen the movie "Buffy" once, about 14 years ago, and I've never seen the show. And yes simple = dull, uncomplicated = boring. I've NEVER been accused of those things.
 
I am not casting a vote simply because my agent didn't even inform me of this audition.

Wow, the ONLY one I'd come up with was Ritchie Luna as Keanu Reeves. (one of my fave. actors)

For those of you not included in the original cast of characters, that was because I wrote the original post while blurry eyed from sleep... having woken to the alarm clock on the first day of work since May 21st. Hard to face work, so why not try to cast a movie instead! :)
