    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is a rescued Boa, that I named Kanji after a friend of mine. To me that is consider that a great honor to be the one who inspired the name of a great Boa Constrictor.
I found this guy in a kids apartment, he had him in a 35-40 gal aquarium. Rubbed nose, as you can see the scab that is on his nose. I was told "He likes to come out and be held a lot" well duh! He is 6.5 feet in a tiny home! He had no hide box, he had an Upper RI which has cleared up. His water dish was one of those rock ones that was only 1 inch deep, not quite enough to even soak his tail. I loved what this guy said when I asked the last time he fed this snake "I think 4 weeks ago, maybe more, I do not remember"

Kanji now rest in a large home with a wash tub for a bath, I feed him once every 10-14 days. Yes he does like to come out of his cage a lot, in fact if I do not take him out enough he will strike at the plexiglass when I walk by. Seems to far stretched, but he really does that, after a good couple of hours roaming the grass he is happy for a couple of weeks. Then he crawls into his hide box for a couple of days straight.

I tell you, I just love Boa Constrictors, they are wonderful creatures. Enjoy the pics if they show up.

Hey I like your Handle. This was my first set of pictures with a new camera. So I am getting used to it, Kanji is very photogenic. I was able to capture his tongue on a couple of other pictures.
