    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

How long does it take an iguana to hatch after it pips?

I was wondering how long it would take for an iguana egg to hatch after it pips? I checked online and I didn't find an answer. A couple months ago I read a care sheet where it said how long it took and I think it was two days but I'm not sure.
 
I don't know the exact answer to your question but I will guess that it would be like most any other reptile and be anywhere from 1-2 days. I reiterate that this is my GUESS.

Do you have iggy eggs incubating? If so, you will find out. And if you do have baby iggies, pictures are a must.
 
Thanks for your reply. I thought it would be around 2 days but wasn't sure. I don't have baby iggies yet but I got eggs incubating. The iguana laid around 40 eggs and my brothers friend gave me 10 of them so that I can incubate them and the rest were left where they were laid to incubate naturally. Out of ten eggs two went bad so I got eight left and they should be hatching real soon. One started to hatch, it cracked the egg a little bit but that's all it's done for now. I will definately post pics as soon one hatches.
