    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just got a new set-up

with a ball python, but he is a little guy and he went into an empty rack space.

So I put my little Harmony in there.

Took big Harmony and Bob outside to play so I click a couple of pics...been a boa day.

Yes dear ***sigh***

I have lamps to put them in....just set it up the way I received it and took the pics quick because company was coming. The ceramic heater isn't on, I used it as a speedy way to raise the heat in the tank then unplugged it. There is a screened hole in the top to set a lamp on. The piece of wood to the left was hanging from the center piece, but I didn't want to provide a ladder to the light fixture.

A 2 1/2 foot ball python was in it for a long time without any trouble, but I suspect my boa will be a different story. The BP is now in a smaller enclosure. I'm hoping he is more comfortable there.

It is pretty darned nice though for a freebie.

Better? (No, I am not taking the unplugged fixtures down tonight.)

Free is always good. Someone gave Lori and I a 180 gal aquarium he had in storage when we bought his two boas. Lori was going to turn it into a natural viv but has since decided to sell it to make room for more racks.

WOW! 180 gallons would be cool! I would have to get rid of my bed to have space for something like that!

Thank you Maggie!

I love my big boas. Bob seems almost tiny next to Harmony (2)....only about 2 1/2 feet difference, but she has been eating to put on weight. She's gained about 4 pounds so I might put her with MoonShadow after all. I was going to put her with Bob, but might look for another female for him and breed him next year (He might not be old/big enough, anyway.) I have 4 females and two males at present, but the other 3 girls are babies.

Wow, don't weigh/measure a snake for a few months and look what happens....Bob is 63 inches now and 5 pounds. Last time I checked he was about 58"/4 pounds. He was approximately 39" when I bought him one year ago.
