• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Those of you who have ever been to a "Head Shop", will understand this thread for sure. If you haven't been, or you don't understand this thread,...it probably doesn't apply to you anyway.

A "Head Shop", is that little store where they sell black light posters, incense, tattoos, jewelry, piercings, and the like. And in the back room, they have some adult items, along with smoking accessories such as rolling papers, pipes, screens, roach clips, and bongs. Now everyone who works there knows what you are going to use these items for. But you don't dare say it, else you'll be shown the door. Hence the big sign on the wall that says "these products are intended for tobacco use only." If you even hint of illegal use, they have to tell you good-bye. If they don't, they are setting themselves up for problems with Johnny Law. So by not talking about it, they keep their business licence, and you get to buy their equipment, take it home, and do what you want with it.

Now today, I got an e-mail from an individual who is looking to buy an Indigo. Unfortunately for him, he decided to disclose the fact that he had previously owned,{ illegal, wild caught Indigos }. I had to turn him away, for what should be obvious reasons. I'm aware that this kind of thing goes on. I'm also aware that without the occasional introduction of new genetic material, into the captive gene pool,...we would have some pretty messed up inbred snakes. I'm also aware that this is against the law, and that state and federal officials frown heavily upon this kind of activity. So,...while I accept the fact that it does go on,...I don't do it,...and I don't want to know about it, if YOU do it. So please DON"T TELL ME!!! Your monkey business is none of my business!!! If you tell me about it, I won't deal with you. So please keep it to yourself! Thanks,
T.

Kudos Tony, -

You did the right thing by blowing them off..
I made a post on here some time ago, regarding someone offering me baby D. couperi, which were described as CB specimens, even had photos of the eggs hatching and neonates, however, when the adults were described to me and I was informed the female was a large, robust, red-chinned specimen taken from the wilds of Central Florida, I did a double take. I was also asked whether I would be able to take possession of any babies I was interested in at the Daytona show! Of course, when I mentioned permits and the legality of the female and Florida transaction, I was told he / she would get back to me in a few days, still awaiting the call..
One must be careful when advertising D. couperi for sale and make certain to disclose their legal status along with information that any interstate transactions will not be considered without proper USF&W interstate commerce permits, as you could be the subject of a "sting" operation, not to mention, it's the right thing to do...

Best regards,

Jeff
