    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am moving into an apartment that does not allow me to have Reptiles at all. I have a Ball Python for adoption to a nice person that is willing to take care of him.

He just shed and looks amazing right now. He is very healthy and eats very well. The adoption cost is 150$ simply so I can make back a little of the money I spent on him and all the equipment.

I don't really want to ship, but I am willing to ship him. If I have to ship, none of the gear is included and he is 75$. He is still young and I'd rather just having him locally picked up.

I live in the downtown area of Fort Wayne, my phone number is 317-364-0896. Call me if you have a home for him/any questions.

$150 is an outright sale IMHO, it does not matter if you call it an 'adoption fee' to 'make back what you put into it'. This is not a sales forum.

He is a nice snake, but Lucille is right. If you want to make some money for him try posting him up for sale instead. Good Luck.

Ok thanks. I figured with 400+ dollars in equipment and a small price like that it was more of an adoption.

If you seriously need to find this snake a home I will be happy to have them come live here. You could then sell your setup to someone else since I would not need it. Let me know. I live about 25 miles north of Fort Wayne so no shipping would be needed.

Very Nice Ball But You Are Asking A Lot For Him? I Can Get Them All Day Long For $50 Please E Mail Me When You Want To Give The Ball A Good Home...... Bob

This is not a sale it's a liquidation price for the equip. the snake is a freebie, could you just get fish for your tank instead?

Tim: first of all, why are you privy to the reasons this was put up? It was originally an 'adoption fee' and now you call it a 'liquidation fee'. The fact is, this is an adoption forum, period. If people want to 'recover money' (sell) for equipment and caging, there is a wonderful classified site on Fauna free of charge.

Shipping costs should be born by the adopter, and it is fair to ask for that when adopting out animals if one is willing to ship. The adoptions themselves need to be posted at no cost.
