MIAMI -- An African rock python was captured Tuesday morning after it got stuck in a turkey pen behind a South Miami-Dade County home.

It was the third time this month that a python had been found in South Florida.
According to Capt. Al Cruz of the Miami-Dade County anti-venom unit, the python was so fat from feeding that it couldn't get out of the pen.
When authorities tried to remove the python, it vomited the turkey, Capt. Cruz said.
The animal will be taken to A.D. Barnes Park to be put on display, authorities said.
Experts say the number of exotic animals found in Florida is growing because owners buy them and then release them into the wild when they grow too big.
Earlier this week, a Burmese python was captured in Miami after it ate a family's cat. And earlier this month, authorities said a 13-foot python in the Everglades burst after it tried to swallow a live, 6-foot alligator whole.
