    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

iv'e been raising reptiles for 17 yrs. and i have never had this happen before. My female retic has pushed about 3/4 of an inch of something out of her cloaca, not sure if it s her uterus or her intestine i have applied anti-biotics to the area and pushed it back in and soaked her for a couple of hours in luke-warm water, will also give her b-12,ivemic for three days in small doses starting tommorrow , has anyone else ever had this happen?? my friend has been breeding for 20+ yrs. and he said he thinks it got over dehydrated during quarantine { says its probably an import, sold as cbb} and her kidneys may be failing, said hes never seen it happen without trying to breed a female with a large male,{pulled her uterus out when he was finished} Any advice is welcome, thank's

Kris, I personally have not heard of a prolapse in retics before. How old is your retic? If she is dehydrated some gatorade may be of help to her, I have used it before and the results were very good. As of today has the prolapse stayed put or has it fallen out again? How well has she been eating? Continue with the soaks a couple of times a day, this will certainly help her relax and hopefully her muscles are not causing the prolapse.

You seem to be on top of the situation, for a prolapse you are doing things right as far as I have read about the situation in other snakes, keep it up and if things do not progress by tomorrow I would suggest a vet visit.
