    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is there any way this thread can be unlocked, so that people that are not members can look at it?

Me and some others have been tracking this scam artisit, Mitch Triana, he has been on too many sites to list scamming people out of money. I would like to post a link to your thread so they can see how many people this guy has cheated, even outside the Diesel Truck World! Thanks!
 
As far as I know, locking a thread only prevents posting on it and does not prevent anyone from seeing what has been written, so you can still link to it. For those who wish to view BOI topics, registration is required and free.

Lucille is correct. Locking a thread merely prevents further replies to it, and does not restrict viewing at all. However, the entire BOI is viewable only to registered members.
