    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Do you have any idea the BUTCHERY involved in "creating" a venomoid?

Or how many it they have to do before one survives the process?

Or that when improperly done, they can regenerate the venom glands and deliver a FATAL bite?

I thought not.

Lets not forget the possiblity of bacteria build up in the hollow teeth that are capable of causing an infection to the person bit. So a bite can cause a lot of damage, if you are lucky, and not death from a regenerated venom gland.

don't be so harsh on the kid. But I agree, Son, do a bit (a lot) of research before posting that. Just to save some arguments. Stick to boids.

Gland/Duct Regen...

Cat- just as a side note, there is no documented case of a venom gland being regenerated after removal. I'm not certain there are even documented cases of duct regeneration though it seems more likely.

NOT that I am getting involved inteh venomoid argument either way!

The info is on another "venomoid" thread here, there are documented cases. I'm far from an expert on hots or venomoids, but these kids that think there is no danger from supposed venomoids have to know that the possibility for it to happen IS there, regardless. Not to mention the suffering that "creating" a venomoid causes the snakes.

I'll stop here as well, I don't really want to get another one of those void "discussions" started again either.... ;)
