    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been toying with a new script for a month or so now, when I have some *spare* time. It's an interesting links program that I thought was pretty well done, so I bought a license about a year ago, but never found time to implement it. I'm still playing around with it, so some changes may take place here and there. Hopefully nothing super drastic, and as far as I can tell, if won't affect any entries that are made to the database.

Try it out if you want to take a look at it. I haven't really done much more then scratch the surface of it, so no telling what capabilities are in there.

Let me know what you think. And try to surprise me with what you can do with it. From what I recall of the example sites I looked at, it has some real interesting possibilities.

Duh..... This might help -> http://www.FaunaLinks.com

I have to say, its quite easy to use. Looks like another great idea Rich. Keep them coming, good job!

Html?

Just wondering if you've considered whether or not to allow HTML tags in the descriptions. They appear to function fine, anyway. I can understand not wanting to have people go wild with bold, italics, and especially font size/color tags, but what about simple line breaks (BR or P tags) to break up the text a little?

One other thing: I tried to place a reciprocal link but it kept telling me the page didn't have that link on it. Also, the HTML it supplies for the link to put on your page (<a href="http://www.faunalinks.com/wsnlinks/in.php?id=">Links Directory</a>) leads to a 404 page. :dgrin:
