    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK - so I was slow getting started this year. I finally managed to start cooling things down, though. A couple of nights ago, I let my exhaustion get the best of me and put my 2 male dums in the same container for a soak. they immediately started combat...and they hadn't even been in the same room with the girls, lol. I had already put 2 of the girls in together, so I paired up the other 2 and put a male in each cage. A lot of courting going on, but that is all I have witnessed in there so far.

I also took the opportunity to put one pair of yellow anacondas together. I added a good sized water basin, knowing it would end up dumped...but it was for a good cause. Sure enough, the following morning found the 'condas in puddle...all locked up.

I've also got a few groups of ATBs together, but have witnessed no action at all in there...I'm not sure if I want to rotate males around to try to stimulate some interest, or just keep my groups the way I started them. Guess it will depend on what happens over the next few weeks

Good luck with all that Harold!! I wish you the best of luck, that goes for everyone here who is breeding reptiles.

Good luck to you Harald. I can't wait to see the baby pictures!

I have already bred my ATBs. I have 5 females and I gave my red/orange male a different female for 4 weeks in a row and I witnessed him breed all 4 on several different nights. I put the fifth female with my black ATB and I saw them breed once. Hopefully I'll have some little ATBs in a few months.

I saw my JCPs breed once and I saw my het. albino male BP breed my only breeding sized female. Wouldn't it be a hoot if I got extremely lucky and she was het. albino too and I get a surprise albino baby. Yeah I am dreaming! :scatter:

Wow - the last time I talked to you about ATBs, you were c/o being very male heavy...you must have been doing some shopping. I only have 4 breeding size females, with one more that should be ready next year.
I've seen a little action happening around here - but I still have a few things to put together, too. I've decided to only breed 3 of my woma females...hopefully I pick the right ones, lol. I should end up with a lot more babies this year...but just wait til spring '07, lol. With just a little luck, that'll be the year that I get the rest of my projects underway.

Well the dums didn't waste much time, I witnessed copulation on the 18th in the one cage, and the 19th in the other. The one male is a bit on the shy side when it comes to romantic matters, so I didn't even look closely enough to identify which female it was (I figure there will be plenty of time for voyeurism and note taking in the coming weeks)
