Busted! Beware Tim Maurer Seems To Be A Scammer!
Get comfortable, this is a long read. Please note that all of this info. comes via email or telephone. I was given 3 references and 2 of them flipped on Tim Maurer, the 3rd has not gotten back to me as of yet.

o.k. look his name isnt tim norton it is timothy maurer he has no albino boa ...he is trying to scam you big time....he has been scamming people for a while and has a whole list of people he has scammed one of the most recent is one he pulled and got 1.1 albino retics from carolina reptile exchange. i know of several more he has done but dont have the particulars on them right now. but i know he has used his sisters name in scams as well you can search that up in the boi search for HEATHER STANLEY that's his sister he was using her name scamming for a while which is terrible for his sister which is only 16 years old and she herself is getting into reptiles so she will never be able to really get into the hobby considering what he has done with her name...just dont tell him why you dont want to buy his snake tell him you found a better deal and watch his price drop like crazy he is a scam and i just want to clear his sisters name in the matter.

Thanks a bunch! With your permission I would like to add what you just wrote (minus your name and email address) to the BOI inquiry thread I started on Fauna. I had mixed feelings about the deal to start with and would like to expose this guy as well as help to clear his sisters’ name like you.

o.k. i found another one he did i dont know the names or contact info of the person but it was a close friend of bob clark im sure if you shoot bob an email he can give you a phone number
he got a sunset cross boa and a guyana boa and an undisclosed amount of cash out of that scam.....and also he scammed kcrd for a baby burmese python .. he used his sisters name on both of these scams along with more scams i think this is all i can dig up but i will contact you if i can find more...

O.K. then I got a phone call from Heather Stanley, (
[email protected]) his own younger sister. She told me that he was a scam artist but was not aware that he was using her name. She said not to send any money. I told her how to find this link, and will also send it to her when I am done.
Later this afternoon I called Tim back to tell him that he was busted, and not getting any of my money. He claimed to be an only child and said that it was impossible thet these people would "flip" on him. He then told me that I was a nobody, in over my head and trying to backpedal. I did not get a chance to ask why his photo matched one on Kingsnakes photo gallery under a different name....

I have been in touch with others scammed and others acctually in the process (see above emails) and it all seems to add up.
