In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I wasn't exactly sure where to put this..However it does fit in the BOI.

I am looking for reputable breeders of small boa constrictor imperators..Not Hogg breeders..I own one of those..But they type of species you have see on Vin Russo's site or Rio Bravo site. These two people are excellent individuals w/great reps.

However, I have come across 1 or 2 people that 'claim' to breed a small Mexican locality b.c.i. However in looking at the animal, it really could be a red tail out of S.America.

I can't get a 10-12ft snake. I only have space for small b.c.i.'s

Does anyone know of any reputable breeders??

Thanks,

Chris Mazzochi

Ron Tremper has some Corn Isle boas for sale (if any are still available) they were born in his facility from wild caught (that is how I understand it) animals. I have a pair of them. The female is 18 months or so and the male is 9 or 10 months old. They are fantastic animals!

I also plan on owning and breeding all of the insular species. I already produce Hogs, and should have Corns and Cay Caulkers in the next couple of years, as they get big enough to breed.

Chris,

You may have more replies if you pose this same question in the boa discussion forum.

Good luck! :)

I had thought of that...but was concerned I would get people that would say they had them...but in fact were either not honest...some of the species esp when they are very young..well I can't tell the difference between them and a normal b.ci.i out of S. America.

I probably will post there too however.

Last I knew Clara (ChaosCat) at Lower Ground Reptiles was breeding Sonorans. These are the Mexican BCI...She is an EXCELLENT person to deal with, and very very honest...her's will be true locale...

I also know the shop local to me has a litter of Caulkers available that were born this year...I know they don't have a website...but they do ship.
Nice snakes...I have seen them firsthand...and the poeple that own the place are knowledgable and very nice.
Three Rivers Reptiles in Joliet, Illinois...

Hey thanks a lot on the tip...Caulkers are certainly hard to find as well. I will give them jingle..I appreciate it man! And I will check out Lower Ground..Sonorans are nice as well..I just like all the small B.c.i's really. A true red tail is nice..but too big for me at the present time.
