    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My family used to have about 6 large torts, but we've been trying to get out of all pets, both furry ones and reptiles. After getting rid of all the others, we've decided to sell our favorite -- Homer -- whom we've hung onto for as long as we possibly can.

Homer is in Arizona, and we'll take him anywhere in the State if you are interested. He's a big male, about 70 lbs or so, and quite a stud. He's very, very friendly (comes when you call him) and a good eater. He's been well taken care of, and has his own heated winter home. He eats grass, romaine, Mizouri tortoise chow, and loves all of it.
