    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have wanted hogs for a long time.. they are just so cute with their little upturned noses and rattlesnake mimic coloration. So I finally got a pair of westerns. Introducing Miss Piggy and her mate, that is yet to be named.

they are very nice hognoses nice coloration and pattern on boath. and the name is priceless lol. but if by chance one were to bite you do not let it chew. since they do have a mild venom and can cause some local swelling and pain. but they are usually pretty calm lol. good luck with your new babies. thanks

Thanx guys :)

I just got them the little more than a week ago, took the pics as I was unbagging them and putting them into their new homes. They are about 3 years old. They were housed together before they were sent to me, so after a few days to be sure everyone was behaving as they should I reintroduced them. Well if all goes well I should have eggs in 6 weeks, because within an hour they were breeding.. and it lasted for a couple hours. I do plan to house them seperately though.. I do not want to risk some freak incidence of one deciding they want to be a snake eater!

Oh I know about their bites.. and I would never even think of letting it chew on me. I am very careful with all my herps, if someone is grouchy(shows any signs of defensive behavior) they are left alone.

My kids and I decided on a name for the male too. He is now called Pug, he has the upturned nose, all he is missing is the cute curly tail :)
