    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK, as some of you already know, My 8 ft Kahl female is in AZ right now on breeding loan. (I'll never do this again!! Totally stressful!!) She was to be mated to a nice 1.0 Salmon, het albino from Ihles line. He for some reason did not find My girl attractive, and didn't even court her for 2 weeks. So, before I even knew, My partner stuck in a Coral albino male, also of Ihles line, and he jumped on her instantly, and stayed that way for over a month. The other, (I'll use "queer") male still showed no interest. What a shame. Sunglow now delayed AGAIN!

So on with it.......... From 11-06-05 to about mid December, a lot of this...

Fast forward.................Feb. 20, 06.......Refused food since dec. and still a full looking belly.

This is her first litter, and Mine as well, but she is 8 ft and I am hoping for a descent litter from her.
I keep asking Myself why I never bred any of My reptiles in the past. I have been keeping them for 30 years after all. LOL I still can't answer that question, though I now see I was missing a big part of Boa husbandry. I am really fascinated with it all.

Rick, the waiting sucks! I am in the same boat as you other than my litter will be sunglows. She was due 3 days ago and it's all I can do to not go down there and squeeze the little buggers out of her! I have a second albino female (dwarf) that is currently being bred by my dh sunglow male so with any luck, I will have 2 sunglow litters this year. My male would breed his cage if he could only figure out how! Good luck with this girl!

Thanks Bob. And yer right, the waiting REALLY SUCKS!! I don't know what is worse, having her out there and waiting, or if it would be any better if she was here and waiting. Probably out there is worse, I just worry a lot about her because I am very attatched to Her. She's been with Me a while.
I just can't wait till next month though. I want her HOME! And some babies will make things nice also. :D I plan on keeping a couple of the nicer corals for Myself. The rest..........cheap cheap. I am on a mission, and want only stock with a purpose for now. LOL

You might have 2 litters of sunglows? Geez, I am jealous. I may have to wait a year or two for mine. But I am pretty adamant about making My own. I think it would make it mean more to Me that way. More special anyway.

Let me know when she pops, I'm either looking for a male albino or a male hypo this year (haven't decided yet)... it's got to be nervewracking!
 
Should be this coming month some time. No Hypos this year. Maybe next. Am talking to a friend, and He wants to prove his ghost as dominant, so I may go that route next year, don't know for sure yet.
But should have some nice albinos if they take after mom and dad. should be a month tops. Than of course, a couple more to make sure they are doing well, you know the routine. :D
