    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Can anyone tell me the commen name for Varanus Salvator Scutigerulus? I hope thats right, I cant find it anywhere and really want to search stuff on this lizard.

Im not exactly sure what you are asking:

You asked for the common name, the common name of that species is Water Monitor

as listed in description of subspeies it would be from a vast range of locations the one you asked about is Varanus salvator scutigerulus --Borneo

Taxanomically they are considered Varanus Salvador nuchalis (Central Philippines), Varanus Salvador togianus (Sulawesi), Varanus Salvador scutigerulus (Borneo), Varanus Salvador marmoratus (North Philippines), Varanus Salvador cummingi (South Philippines) and a melanistic form (all black) referred to as "Varanus Salvador komaini".

Varanus Salvador scutigerulus (Borneo), Would be Borneo water monitor. The last part of their scientific name is based on the origin of were they are found. In this case Borneo.

Oh I'm sorry, Thankyou everyone, that was alot simpler than i thought. Oh yeah for what i meant like the Khomaini, one of the commen was Black Water, i was wondering what it was for scutigerulus, i was getting so frustrated in finding the freaking name so i was like arrrge ill just ask fauna people someone will know there. really though thanks everyone you really helped!!
