In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Giving away my entire collection due the fact that I don't take care of them as good as I should and I think they need a good home plus I'm going to move soon and probably won't have the space or time. My collection includes 2 ball pythons male and female as far as I know (I don't really trust the person who checked my female) an Argentine tegu and a rose haired tarantula. They all come with there cages and lamps and such. I want someone who will take good care of them so just tell me your experience nothing big I think knowing about this site probably means your not an idiot. I live in Cobleskill, NY a town about 45 miles from Albany. Local pickup only. http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?new...ntry=us&tcsz=Cobleskill,+NY+12043&tcountry=us

I'm not close enough to take them, but I just wanted to give you a "pat on the back" for caring enough to give them to someone who is able to take care of these animals better than you can at this point in time.

Good for you. :)

heres a picture of them both the male is the darker one he is getting ready to shed.

The New York Times has a 'quote of the day'. Were I to start a quote thread, this would, uneditorlialized, be the beginning.
In fact, I think I will do just that.....

Good luck finding a good home for them.

I live in CT and would love to add more animals but can't at this time.

Just make sure to be upfront with anyone taking them in from you. If there is ANYTHING wrong with them or if there is ANYTHING a future owner shoudl know, tell them.

I took in several snakes recently that the guy said were healthy and just needed a new home.

Yeah right.

They had mites, were dehydrated, mouth rot, scale rot, severe RI, wounds along the back, and never had a heat source. I was ripped after he dropped them off and I could see how bad he let them get and supposedly didn't know there was anything wrong with them. I am still nursing them back to health after several weeks and several expensive vet trips.

With good care these guys will be very healthy. They are skinny. They have a ceramic heat source and a heat pad on the hot side of there 40 gallon breeder and a huge I'd say 2 gallon soak bowl. I admit I am bad with humidity. I keep the room there in at 80 degrees constant which trust me I get bitched at alot for. I was once a very good care taker until I got a job and a car. Kind of ashamed and thats the main reason I'm getting rid of them now because I don't want them to become a horror story. The female started eating again after a bit of a food strike that is why I decided this was the perfect chance. Trust me I used to be ultra obsessed with my snakes.

I've sent you a PM. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the responses guys I have given homes to all except the rose haired tarantula which really I didn't expect to find a home for. I don't know yet if everybody will come through so there is still a chance that they will need a home. Thanks

I'm giving everybody till this weekend so look back then if a plan fell through I will tell you.
