how old is too old

im thinking of picking up a 8 year old female western hognose to mate with my 2 1/2 year old male. would the female be too old to breed. also how long is a hognose expected to live?

is thought to be upward toward 15 to 20 years with growth and breeding the same. A theory is that by not hibernating or the other version and that is of estivation, it can shorten a snakes longevity.
