In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Shreveport police report finding crack cocaine in an unusual place -- a plastic bag hidden under gravel that lined the bottom of a boa constrictor's aquarium.

Narcotics agent Ben Raymond lifted the snake out of the cage to remove the 1.4 ounces of the drug from the cage in a home in the 3100 block of Frederick Street on Thursday, authorities said.

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit and Shreveport police also reportedly found scales, baggies, a handgun and a quarter ounce of marijuana when they searched the house.

Emanuel Ford, 21, of Shreveport has been booked on one count of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

How do they know it didn't belong to the snake? Possession is 9/10ths of the law......

Yeah, the guy should have started scolding the snake and then explained to the cop how he'd had the snake in rehab twice already to get it cleaned up.

I would like to know how they knew it was in the cage. I'm betting a tip off.
I've considered using a snake cage like that myself. Not to hide drugs, but I have had a few things that needed hiding at times. I always thought under the substrate in a cage housing a large atrox would be an excellent place.

Some years ago at my retail

reptile pet store it was common for the purchase of a ball python for the same but different as to keeping certain amounts of money in a cage with the snake. It was conceived as a norm by the local law enforcement of my city. Funny thing is that I use to get back several of the snakes as " donations " from law enforcement after a bust. Not saying the snakes were in the best of shape.

Yeah he could've told the cops how the snake had stolen his stereo, pawned his tv and vcr, and stole money from his wallet while he was asleep to get his fix. He also could've explained how fed up he was with the snake staying up all night and doing drugs and having his friends like african rock pythons, reticulated pythons, rattlesnakes, and cobras over all the time lying around the cage drugged up.:dgrin:

Back when I kept hots I used to do just that. Money was safer than in a bank. Western Diamondback Savings: member FDIC. (Found Dead In Cage)
