    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well as you may or may not know i have tried to breed mice again. Well not too long ago i noticed my female getting very fat, it got to the point that she looked like she ate a tangerine and weight just about 90 grmas! WEll this was her first time breeding,I have had them for only 2 months and scince they were small weanlings. well today when i woke up she gave me pinkies! and not just a few, in total 18 pinkies!! on her first time breeding ever!

I know!, i was expecting 5-10 pinks, but if she wants to keep poping out 15-20 pinks every month i am not goign to complain :dgrin:

I just hope she can feed them all. If you have something that can eat them you might want to give her a break and thin the herd down a little.

Yea, one of the worries i had was about being able to feed all of thme, i guess i might give a few away to some lucky geckos, all my smaller snakes were just fed yesterday.

Awesome, I wish all of my mice would breed, I only have one female out of 25 that is getting knocked up. The good thing is rats will not stop dropping babies and making up for the lack of mice.

Well, here is a pic of the litter ( minus one that has been fed :eatpointe )

I can't believe that a mouse can hold that many babies, due to their small size. Incredible!

WOW, i know that the # pf babies a mie has is genetic, so yo umay be able to start a colony of high number breeders!
In a way its genetic. The more inbred the mice are, the less they produce. Pet store mice tend to be very inbred abd therefore dont produce as many babies. I took pet store mice and out bred them for 4 generations. By the 4th generation of outbreeding, my females were producing 15 to 25 babies a litter where the 1st generation only produced 5-12. Very cool stuff!
